For over ten years, the saucy Cross-Linx festival presents daring and original combinations of avant-garde pop music and contemporary classical music in the main concert halls of the Netherlands.

Last year, Cross-linx came to Groningen for the first time with performances by The National, Owen Pallett and Efterklang. On 24 February 2012, De Oosterpoort will function as the backdrop for the festival once more, and musical Groningen will once more leave the beaten track. According to the Cross-linx tradition, the programme will be scheduled up-to-the-minute.
